Assembly Procedures

There will be a variety of school assemblies during the school year. Students will go to and from the cafeteria with their classroom and sit in assigned seats. Students will behave in a courteous and respectful manner. Unacceptable conduct will not be permitted. The privilege of attending is limited to those students who model good behavior.

1. Enter and exit in a prompt and orderly fashion.

2. Listen actively-HIGH FIVE (ears, eyes, mouth, hands and doing personal best).

3. Unless given permission, do not talk during a program. Use the Lifeskills of COMMON SENSE, RESPONSIBILITY, INITIATIVE, and COOPERATION by using good judgment.

4. Be polite. Applaud or clap only when it is appropriate.

5. Remain seated until dismissed by the person in charge.
