Student Success Team

The Student Success Team (SST) is made up of teachers, principal, resource specialist, school psychologist, speech therapist, and other appropriate school personnel. The purpose of the SST is to address the needs of students who may require a more specialized or adaptive educational program.

A child may be referred because of academic, behavioral, or emotional difficulty. Solutions may include remediation, referral to a tutor, counseling, and/or testing to determine the most positive learning environment for the child.

The team suggests specific strategies and methods to teachers and other staff who work with the student. Parents of the referred student are encouraged to attend and participate in this very important process.
